Local Community Involvement
BISSELL is involved in many local organizations, some of which include:
John Ball Zoo
BISSELL is proud to help “Restore the Roar” at John Ball Zoo. In addition to many exciting projects at the Zoo, the BISSELL Lions of Lake Manyara exhibit opened in June 2008 and the BISSELL Tree House opened in June 2012.
Junior Achievement
BISSELL is proud to support both local and international community involvement. Right in our own backyard we are actively supporting some great organizations such as United Way, Junior Achievement, and Ronald McDonald House. On a national level we are proud to be a part of the BISSELL Pet Foundation, Partners for Pets and many more.
Learn moreUnited Way
This year 95% of BISSELL employees chose to donate a portion of their paychecks each week to help those in need. These contributions will allow the United Way to invest in programs that will improve lives and build a stronger community.
Ronald McDonald House
Each May BISSELL Associates and family members participate in the “Spring Clean-Up” day to “refresh” the inside and outside of the house by washing windows, doing yard work, and cleaning. Learn more about the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan.
